About this project
How reports work
A report captures one checkout at one moment. It is not a verdict on an entire business.
What gets published
We publish a report only after checking that the place, description, and source make sense. If the details are too thin or too personal, it stays off the site.
What the labels mean
Reported means we found a credible first-person account. Corroborated means another independent account describes the same setup. Evidence provided means there is a photo or screenshot. Editor verified means an editor checked the underlying material directly.
When two reports look alike
We compare the place, date, tip choices, and checkout setup. If two people describe the same event, we connect the reports instead of pretending they are separate reports.
See something wrong?
Anyone can send a correction, including the business named in a report. We review the request and keep a record of meaningful changes.
